Ingredients

250g fresh bhindi (okra), sliced

2 tbsp Tez Mustard Oil

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 green chili, slit

½ tsp turmeric powder

½ tsp coriander powder

Salt to taste

A squeeze of lemon (optional)
Method

Heat Tez Mustard Oil in a pan for a couple of minutes. Reduce heat.

Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add onions and green chili; sauté till onions turn golden.

Add bhindi and sauté for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add turmeric, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook till bhindi is tender and slightly crisp.
- Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice, and serve hot with chapati or dal-rice.
